Geoffrey Waguespack's practice centers on the defense of employment discrimination and construction cases as well as general litigation in the Federal and State court systems. He has handled matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Attorney General's Office and the Illinois Court of Claims. His practice includes successful appeals before the Illinois Supreme Court and Appellate Court.
Geoffrey is a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He currently serves as the chairperson for the IDC Employment Law Committee and as an editor for the IDC Quarterly. Geoffrey also writes the Employment Law column for the Quarterly.
A graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D. 2003) and the College of William and Mary in Virginia (B.A. 1997), Geoffrey is a member of the Illinois Bar and the Federal general bar. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Geoffrey served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Morton Denlow, Presiding Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as a research staff attorney for the Appellate Court of Illinois, Second District.
