Nicole Milos' practice focuses on: Professional Liability, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Commercial Litigation actions, Construction Litigation, Employers' Liability, Breach of Contract claims and Insurance Coverage claims. Her Premises Liability work includes representing landowners and property management companies against claims alleging injuries, including those caused by unnatural accumulations. Her practice includes representing product manufacturers and distributors in cases alleging design defects, fraud and failure to warn theories of liability. She counsels clients in risk management avoidance techniques and has represented multiple parties in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including mediations.

Nicole has argued and prevailed in matters pending before trial and appellate courts. In 2011, Nicole argued before the Appellate Court of Illinois, First District. Thereafter, the Appellate Court affirmed the summary judgment victory Nicole earned for her client at the trial level.

Nicole Milos has been named the IDC Volunteer of the Year. Nicole was recognized for her many outstanding contributions including serving on the Board of Directors, serving on the Committee Structure Initiative (CSI), serving as chair of the Tort Law Committee, and helping to guide the creation of the IDC's new publication, the Survey of Law.

Nicole received the 2010 Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC) Rising Star Award. The award is presented annually to a young attorney who has exhibited exemplary performance in the practice of law, demonstrated commitment to the defense bar and the association, and has been involved in significant projects that had a positive result on the practice of law. Ms. Milos was nominated by her peers who cited her leadership within the YLD and her formidable abilities as a litigator.

Nicole is a member of the IDC Rule 213 Task Force. This Task Force was created to examine the Rule 213 Simultaneous Expert Disclosure Pilot Program implemented in Cook County. Nicole drafted a Position Paper to summarize the programs and the arguments in opposition to the implementation of the program.

Nicole serves on the Board of Directors for the IDC. Nicole is the Managing Editor of the IDC Survey of Law. She is also the Chair of the Industry Relations Committee. This Committee explores issues that are relevant to the legal community, providing a format to discuss hot button topics, including business and economic issues that impact lawyers and their clients. Nicole serves on the IDC's Committee Structure Initiative and is a member of the IDC–Tort Committee. She is a former committee member of the IDC –Young Lawyers Division. She regularly contributes to the IDC Quarterly and has authored "Practice Points" and case notes. Ms. Milos served as a committee member and presenter for the Young Lawyers Seminar.

A graduate of John Marshall Law School (J.D., 2001) and Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame (B.S., 1998), Nicole is currently completing an LL.M. degree in Information Technology and Privacy Law at the John Marshall Law School. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2001 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana.
