Stacy Fulco's practice centers on Premises Liability/Retail, General Tort Litigation, Product Liability, Transportation Litigation, Appellate Practice and Administrative Law. She has extensive experience in handling business disputes before suit, in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, through trial and appeal. She also provides in-house counseling and training to retail clients regarding premises liability issues.
A graduate of DePaul University College of Law (J.D./M.B.A, 1997) and Illinois State University (B.A, 1993), Stacy is a member of the Illinois Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Central District of Illinois and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of DRI and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.
Stacy has long been a columnist for the IDC Quarterly, the magazine of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, for which she writes the Recent Decisions column. In addition, she authored "What is Deliberate Indifference?" and “Medical Negligence and Deliberate Indifference – What is the Difference?" for CorrectCare in 2000. That same year, Stacy spoke at the National Commission on Correctional Health Care regarding rights and liabilities related to newborns in the correctional facility.
Prior to joining Cremer Spina, Stacy practiced at a small firm handling medical malpractice and Section 1983 defense cases. She worked closely with the County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. She has also represented municipalities, County Sheriffs and correctional staff.
